Through partnerships with schools, farmers, organizations, and businesses, the Greenhouse Project strives to build a local food system that is nourishing for both people and the environment. Through free and low-cost educational programs to at-risk children and adults, they provide ample opportunities for residents to foster dietary and exercise habits to support disease prevention and physical and emotional well-being. Current programs include: community gardens, yoga for health, gardening classes, children’s educational programs and school field trips, plant-based cooking classes, and guided nature walks.
